Today's Nail Art - Floral

Today I wanted a red french manicure. I found it too plain so I decided to add some little flowers on it.

It is very easy to do. First you apply a coat of plain manicure. Then you do a french manicure (in my case I decided to do it red instead of white). Then you do some some flowers. Place it where you want. For my thumb and my little finger I have done 3 flowers, and on my other nails I only did 1 flower in the corner.



I made the flowers with a the head of a pin which you can find in a men's shirt. It is flat and round so good to do some small circles which makes the petals of the flowers =)

Summer is nearly over!!! Welcome pullovers and leggings, welcome gloves and hats!!! But I so don't like when it's cold as I'm all the time sick:(

So one of my facorite 2011 summer outfit was my blue dress which I wear with a black belt :)

Sometimes I wish I could go back to the days when I was six and my biggest problem was what kind of dress to put on Barbie as I need to think about what I will wear each day!! That is why nowadays clothes and everything that goes with it are the big problem of women!!!

Today's Nail Art - Roseus (Pink)

As I said I really love the color RED!!! But today I have done a pink nail art. It is very simple and is inspired by the video 'Red & White French Manicure Flower Nail Art Design Tutorial' by 'Love4Nails' on youtube. I have replaced the RED color by PINK and I have done it in my own style.

So firstly I have done a simple french manicure. Then I have applied a pink nail polish on the corner of my french manicure. Next I have underline the pink nail polish by a fine black nail polish. Then I have underlined my french manicure with some small balck dots. And that's it, that's the design I have made on my nails except on my thumb.



For my thumb, I wanted a small flower as pink in french is rose, and rose is a flower. I started to create the petals with the pink nail polish. I added some white nail polish on the pink nail polish when it was still wet, and I did some little strikes to merge it a bit. Then I painted my middle flower with white nail polish. Then I have outlined my flower with black nail polish. then I created some little curls coming from the flower. Then instead of putting some small dots to outline my french manicure, I put some small dots to outline the pink nail polish I had made on the corner of the french manicure. And that's it. A really simple nail art =)

Remember, Pink is the sweet side of red. Both red and pink denote love but while red is hot passion, pink is romantic and charming.

Recette Coq au Vin

Today i learned how to cook ''Coq au Vin''. (facon popo)

In the chinese tradition, it is good for women who just give birth to eat it.
The ingredients are ginger, chicken(4 cuisses + 4 ailes) and wine(malaka wine).

The way i cooked it today is the way that you give to women who just give birth.
Premierement faut nettoyer les cuissses et les ailes de poulet sans pour autant retirer les os et les couper en gros morceaux. Netoiyer le gingembre et le couper en morceaux tres fin. Prendre une grande casserole et mettre au feu, ajouter de lhuile et frire le gingembre. Puis ajouter le poulet. Bien melanger et ajouter le vin. Puis laisser a feu vif juska ce que sa bouilli et mettre a feu doux pendant 1hr temps. Puis servir chaud.

La deuxieme facon de le cuire c'est quand on le sert en invitant la famille qui viennent voir le bebe pour la premiere fois. C'est presque le meme processus. sauf que au lieu de couper en les cuisses et ailes de poulet en gros morceaux. Faut retirer les os et les couper en morceaux tres fin. Puis prendre une casserole et mettre de lhuile, le gingembre, le vin puis le poulet. le temps de cuisson est le meme.

Here is the traditional way of cooking it. It is also good to for girls who just finish getting their ''magic'' to eat.

This is what popo told me. And anyway it is so good that whenever i want to eat it i can do it myself. It is so simple :D

Paris ~ St Louis ~ Iowa ~ Chicago ~ Toronto

With the help of my dad, my aunt Doris and my cousin Agnes, I have been able to make a long travel:) we first do 2 days in Paris which was awesome.. we have visit the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Champs Elysees, the Galleries la Fayette,..

Paris is a city that is fully active - 24h/24hr - 7j/7j... there is always something to visit.. it is so big and beautiful.. its a dream coming true..

I also experience my first time in the subway.. I tried lots of variety of foods that of course we don't have in Mauritius..

St Louis is a big city with lots of attraction, but there were no people walking on the roads.. Most of them are in their cars or inside the buildings. The wedding of Tammy & Grant was very amazing... Terry bring me and Agnes to six flags where i experience my fisrt ride on a roller coaster!!! its was freaking awesome!!! i could have a heart attack but after the ride i enjoyed it and in my head i was saying ''yay im still alive'' XD i also went to the movie premiere of ''The Last Airbender''.. it wasnt full but Terry's friend disguised themselves. in fact when a movie has an enormous success most of the fans will disguised themselves in their favorite heroes..

Iowa is a place where there is not much to do.. aunt Ellen's house is very big.. Tim brought me to watch 3D movies.. 2in all: toy story3, how to train your dragon and shrek4...

uncle Bawei brought us to John Deer where there are huge tractors..

Chicago is a big city!!! though we didn't pass a lot of time there, we have enjoyed it:) we were lost when finding our way back home but it was quite fun.. the trip wasn't that funny as it was 4 hours of driving..

Aunt Ellen brought us shopping very often, and as there were huge sales, it was very worthy..

i got lots of clothes for myself and for my sister.. got some jewels and also got some gifts for my friend and families.

Toronto was the last city of our trip.. with uncle James, aunt Shirley, Stacey, Cindy and the little Gaby, my stay there was really funny and adventurous.. we did lots of shopping, we have visited lots of places like: Niagara Falls, Toronto Downtown & its Chinatown, ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) & CN Tower.. we also went to cinemas watching: salt, the sorcerer's apprentice and the a-team. titi agna & family were here too to make us have a nice stay in toronto and made us visit some cool places..

The best was to finally meet my little niece Gabrielle (Gaby) and to pinch her cheeks:P I so love her

i wish to be able to go there again soon.. but hopefully i want my next trip to be Australia, to visit my best friend Sandrine:)

there are also other places i want to visit like: Spain, Italy, England, China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Las vegas, Miami, Korea, Rodrigues...

I've turned 20 yesterday :)

I didn't felt nothing special but i know that every day that goes by i get a bit older...

I've got wishes from my friends and also some gifts:)

I've spend Saturday night with my closest friends, dinner at shooters(flic-en-flacq) then dancing at Shout.

I was very happy that my BFF had bought a red dress just for the occasion: Im so proud^^
